A Prayer for Healing

Father, so many of my friends and loved ones, as well as I, are in need of healing. So I come before You and request healing for all in body, mind, soul, and spirit – healing in accordance to Your will.  

You know every hurt, ache, sorrow, and affliction. And I know there is nothing You can’t repair, revive, restore, and redeem. But I don’t know what or how You will choose to move. You know things I don’t  know and see things I don’t see. And only You know the good that will be produced through our pain and suffering. 

So do what You will. Do what is best and needed most. Help us release what we cannot control and rest in Your sovereignty. Calm our hearts and minds, and help us openly receive the healing that You provide.  

In whatever You choose to remove and whatever You choose to remain, ground us in Your peace, and help us live surrendered to Your ways. Comfort us, sustain us, strengthen us, renew us, and make us whole. Help us walk forward in Your love and grace, and use it all for Your glory.
