Do You See Him
It is my privilege to share another one of my dad's poems...
Do You See Him
by Rev. Tim R. Young
Each day that you live, you can see Jesus
Whether it be in the valley so low
Or on the mountain so high
Or maybe yonder in the sky
He is here and He is there
In fact, He’s everywhere
He is in the flowers so fair
In the early morning air
Oh yes, wherever you look, He is there
Whether it be in the morn or at noon
Or in the evening so late
He is there, oh, how great
Oh yes, He made the rich and the poor
And He loves us by the score
Wonderful is He that I see
Wonderful, wonderful is He to me
“O Lord, our Lord, your majestic name fills the earth!
Your glory is higher than the heavens.
When I look at the night sky and see the work of your fingers—
the moon and the stars you set in place—
what are mere mortals that you should think about them,
human beings that you should care for them?”
– Psalm 8: 1, 3-4 (NLT)
“The heavens proclaim the glory of God.
The skies display his craftsmanship.
Day after day they continue to speak;
night after night they make him known.
They speak without a sound or word;
their voice is never heard.
Yet their message has gone throughout the earth,
and their words to all the world.”
– Psalm 19:1-4 (NLT)
