A Prayer for Christmas to Come

Dear Lord, now that Thanksgiving has passed, prepare our hearts for what’s coming. For Christmas is coming.

Whether we find ourselves in a time of celebration or a time of mourning, or a mixed bag of both, Christmas comes for all.

It comes bringing hope, peace, joy, and love. May we embrace it all.

See hope.
Know peace.
Have joy.
Feel love.

See Jesus as our only hope.
Know Jesus as the Prince of Peace.
Have the joy of Jesus in our hearts.
Feel the love of God so great that He sent Jesus to give eternal life to all who believe in Him.

Hope. Peace. Joy. Love.

These are the gifts that Christmas brings. May we receive and give what comes.
