Jesus Remains

There are moments in life when our world stops, but for most of those around us, life goes on. 

It can feel insensitive and uncaring, but it’s the way of the world. There are too many traumas in the world on a daily basis for everyone to stop. Things must keep moving, otherwise life would cease to exist.

But while the world moves on, there is One who remains. One who never leaves us. One who consoles us, comforts us, and carries us. 

One named Wonderful Counselor, Prince of Peace, Mighty God. One named Immanuel – God with us.

One named Jesus. 

When the world moves on, Jesus remains. And He is always only a breath away.
