A Prayer to Return to the Lord

Let us return to You, Lord. You will heal us. You will bind up our wounds. You will revive and restore us in Your presence.

As surely as the sun rises, You will appear. You will come to us like the rains that water the earth. You are in the sun and the rain. You are the sun and the rain. 

Everything was made by You and for You. Creation declares Your glory. Come, let us join all creation. Heaven and nature sing.

Let our love for You not be like the morning mist nor the early dew that disappears, but let our hearts be devoted to You. Let us seek Your face, that we may dwell in Your house all the days of our lives and behold Your beauty.

You will revive and restore us that we may live in Your presence. That is what You do when we return to You, Lord. In Your presence, we will live.
